Investment Agency, Indian Oswal discuss cooperation

General Director of the Syrian Investment Agency (SIA) Ahmad Abdul Aziz on Saturday discussed with Chairman of the Boards of Oswal Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (OCFL) Abhey Oswal the climate of investment in Syria and the possibility of establishing investment project in Tartous.

 

 

Abdul Aziz briefed the Indian side on the investment map in Syria and the facilities and services which the agency provides for the investors, pointing out to the role of the industrial cities in attracting investors and ensuring the requirements of the industrial projects, particularly the infrastructures and other services.

He pointed out to the incentives which the investment projects get and the economic feasibility of establishing energy projects in Syria.

Oswal expressed desire to establish investment projects in Tartous because it is close to the Port and facility to export, pointing out that the good investment climate in Syria encourages the company to study financing a number of projects in the country, including improving the Port.

Oswal corporation is specialized in phosphate investment and oil shale and extracting electricity from it. It produces 1,50 million tons of phosphate in India annually. It has the largest project in the world in Australia.
