Armed Terrorist Group Sabotages Oil Pipeline in Deir Ezzor

An armed terrorist group attacked on Friday an oil pipeline affiliated to the Syrian Company for Oil Transport in Deir Ezzor, blowing it up at the crossing point between the oil pipeline from al-Kharrata to al-Taim fields, 15 km southwest of the city.

An official source at the Syrian Oil Ministry told SANA that the explosion caused fire to burst at this point, adding that the competent authorities rushed to put down the fire and the pipeline was repaired and oil pumped again in four hours.

The source added that the oil production was not affected and around 20 cubic meters of oil were damaged.
