Allaw participates in APICORP meeting in Cairo and discuss with Its Board the cooperation for the development of Banias refinery

The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Arab Company for Petroleum Investments APICORP of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC)Began in Cairo on Saturday with the participation of Syria and representatives of Member States of the Organization.

 

 

Eng. Sufian Allaw Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo .. This meeting is held every three months and it discusses many issues relevant to the company and its investments in Arab countries, especially in light of current circumstances in the region and prospects for the future of the company.

He said that APICORP contribute in supporting oil projects in all the Arab countries through participation in the financing, secure management required funding or by providing technical advice and the preparation of studies and follow-up implementation.

 

Allaw pointed out that APICORP is one of the Arab companies that are successful, profitable and have good contributions to the other joint Arab ventures related oil industry.

 

He pointed out that to it will be on the sidelines of the regular meeting of the company held a bilateral meeting with company management to discuss cooperation between the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and the company to provide technical support and advice for the development of Banias refinery, adding that during the last week discussed steps to conduct the study for this project and ways to do it during a meeting in Cairo included representatives from the ministry and the company.

 

The Arab Company for Petroleum Investments APICORP a multilateral development bank owned by the ten member states of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting OAPEC was established in 1975
