GPC held evaluating meeting for the operating companies’ performance and production ,drilling and projects plans follow up

General Petroleum Corporation held on 7/14/2011 meeting “chaired by the Director General of the Corporation included the Heads of the boards of companies as well as managers and heads of institutions and companies working in order to evaluate the performance of companies operating and tracking the implementation of production plans and drilling projects and compliance with terms of security, safety and the environment

.

the meeting discussed ways to improve the work and workers, and foster a spirit of cooperation between the companies with each other and with the institution through the assessment of the achievements of each company in addition to put the problems and difficulties that might hinder the progress of work and a joint search for optimal solutions to them

.

The meeting as well as discussed the evaluation of tracking the implementation of drilling and production plans and projects during the first half of 2011. And the annual plan for 2012 in addition to evaluating the results of implementation of decisions and recommendations taken at previous meetings, especially those aimed at fiscal retrenchment

Several oil companies operating in the Syrian market including Al Furat (afpc) , a joint venture between the General Petroleum Corporation, Syria Shell Petroleum Development Company and Deir ez Zor oil joint venture between GPC and Total E & P Syrie and Kawkab company of oil a joint venture between GPC and (CNPC ) of China, and Oudeh company for oil shared between GPC and Sinopec of China,. Abu Kamal oil joint venture between GPC and company TatNeft Russian company , and al-Rasheed joint venture between GPC and the company (IPR), in addition to the Dijleh Petroleum joint venture between GPC and Gulf Sands British company ,and Hayan Petroleum Joint venture between GPC and the Croatian company INA, and others.
