GPC’s Board of Directors Meeting discussed evolution of the oil and gas reserves in Syria until the end of 2009
The Board of Directors of the General Petroleum Corporation held its seventh meeting on Monday 28, October, 2010 Review a note on the evolution of the oil and gas reserves in Syria until the end of 2009 and tracing the implementation of the plan for GPC and its subsidiaries’ activities of the three-quarters up to the third quarter of 2010.
The Board was headed by the President of the Board of Directors and attended by the members of the Board of Directors where they discussed the most important issues related to GPC and its subsidiaries and Review a note on the technical part of the tender book concerning the announcement to explore the Syrian offshore area.
The Board of Directors also reviewed other new topics.
Board of Directors appreciated the good results of implementing the production plans and the progress of the work in GPC and its subsidiaries’ projects until the end of the third quarter of 2010.

Husain Wadaa SGC GM, Geologist Khuder al-Ali director of Exploration and Development dept. in GPC and Dr. Ezat al-Kenj and Mohammed Faiz Barsha representative members of Labor Union.
