Syria Shell Co-Sponsors “Women in Business Management & Investment” Symposium

  Under the patronage of  H.E. Dr. Amer Husni Lutfi, The Minister of Economy and Trade, The Syrian Businesswomen Committee at the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Al Joudeh for studies/ consultations held a symposium entitled “Women in Business and Investment” at Sheraton Hotel on 28-29 October 2007.

 The two-days symposium aimed to improve businesswomen administrative skills, Support women in administrative activities through laws and legislations, discuss the role of banks in financing administrative activities, and encourage the participants from outside Syria to invest in Syria.

 Syria Shell co-sponsored the forum  which was attended by H.E. Dr. Amer Husni Lutfi ,The Minister of Economy and Trade, H.E. Dr. Diala Haj Aref, The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Business women from the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Tourism, Syrian NGOs, Private economical and industrial sectors,  Business Women from Yemen, Libya, Jordan, Palestine, Bahrain, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Tunis, Lebanon, India, Canada and Syria.
