Syria signs MoU with Syria Shell

 Syria Shell signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Syrian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in June 2007.

 The MOU covers a range of studies, which include an assessment of Syria’s undiscovered gas resources, the development of a gas master plan for Syria and the examination of a plan to develop Syria into a regional gas hub with neighboring countries.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Eng. Sufian Al Alao, Minister of Oil and Mineral Recourses, Mr. Ali Abbas, Syrian Gas Company General Manger, Mr. Rauol Restucci Executive Vice President Middle East & South Asia, and Mr. Campell Keir Syria Shell General Manager.
