The President Meets Shell Chief Executive in Damascus

 H.E. The President Dr. Bashar Al Assad  met Shell Chief Executive Mr. Jeroen van de Veer at the Presidential palace in Damascus on June 2007

 During his visit to Syira, Mr. Jeroen van de Veer met H.E. The Prime Minister, Eng. Muhamad Naji Al Ottri and H.E. Deputy prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mr. Abdulla Al Dardari discussing the present and future cooperation prospects between the Syrian Companies of Oil and Gas and Shell.

The Meeting was attended by H.E. The Minister of Petroleum, Mr. Sufian Al Alao, and Syria Shell General Manager, Mr. Cambell Keir, and Syria Shell Deputy General Manger Mr. Ghaleb Sleiman.

Also, Mr. Jeroen van de Veer met with governmental officials working in the field of oil & Gas in Syria.
