Well-informed sources confirmed that the government is considering reducing subsidies for energy during the eleventh five-year plan by 10% and plan to bring additional revenue derived from the process of reducing energy subsidies to public investment and public transfers.

The government had taken action first on the removal of subsidies on oil products in 2008 rose which the rate of fuel oil to almost three times and had to give citizens cards containing 1000 liters of diesel-powered at the old rate, but this procedure proved toothless and failing, and then gave the citizens Cards ( checks) worth 10 thousand pounds material support to families in Syria.
the government steps came in the context of this re-distribution of support for energy prices, under the title of the delivery of support to those who deserve it are still unclear information about the actions the new government this year on the subject of the distribution of support.

It was not clear how the subsidy cuts will be reflected by 10% on prices so that no information is available about raising the price equivalent to the value reduction!!
