Oil Minister visits site of oil pipeline transporting Project in Deir ez-Zor Petroleum Company replacing some parts of it

Deir ez-Zor Petroleum Company and, Total E & P Syrie completed 16-inch pipeline with a length of 17 kilometers and cross the Euphrates River at a depth of 10 meters from the The bottom of the river, which was replaced in order to prevent any contamination or a leak in the Euphrates River by the transfer of oil produced from the fields of Deir ez-Zor Petroleum company .

Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Eng. Sufian Allaw visited the project site and reviewed the work carried out there and Minister praised the efforts made to replace the line and taking into account the technical requirements appropriate.

Work operations included a way to cross the line Horizontal drilling under the Euphrates River basin where it was working without interruption of oil production.

The Minister was accompanied on this visit, Dr. Hassan Zeinab, Deputy Minister of Oil and Ali Abbas, Director General of the General Organization for Petroleum, Dr. Firas Qaddour Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deir ez-Zor Petroleum Company.
