Allaw and Azerbaijani Prime Minister underlined the need to speed up the signing of the gas and complete linkage between the gas networks in Turkey and Syria

Eng. Sufian Allaw Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources discussed with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Arthur Rsizadeh in Baku ways to develop relations between the two countries through activating the signed agreements and follow up on agreements proposed in cooperation protocol which was signed at the end of the Syrian Commission of Azerbaijan joint efforts to reach a common formula to determine the paths of the Executive them.
The two sides stressed the necessity of signing an agreement to buy 1-1.5 billion m 3 of natural gas annually and follow-up arrived in the Azerbaijani gas pipeline between Syria and Turkey in preparation for the transfer of gas through Georgia and Turkey to Syria.
oil minister, said Syria will complete the part of the gas pipeline part of Syrian territory by the end of this year with the arrival of the Arab gas pipeline to the Syrian-Turkish border while the will of the Turkish side to implement and link length of seventy kilometers within Turkish territory to be a gas network ready and connected with the Syrian network .
The two sides reviewed the results of the Joint Commission and proposals for further economic and trade cooperation and investment between the two countries in addition to the areas of cooperation in the sectors of agriculture and modern irrigation, oil and gas, health, industry, banking, higher education, transport and tourism, pointing to the importance of activating the role of the private sector and businessmen from both sides to explore new opportunities for trade and economic cooperation as well to the establishment of specialized exhibitions to identify the products of both countries and their possibilities.
