for two weeks in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Syria Shell Petroleum Development awareness campaign Is currently being held in the most elementary stage in the city of Palmyra.

The campaign is directed to students of 5th elementary class to consolidate the important concepts related to increase of knowledge about road safety, environmental protection ,attention to health, hygiene Personal and energy conservation.

 
this campaign may have preceded, a similar campaign in the province of Damascus on April 14, 2010 for two weeks about awareness program in a number of elementary schools in the Dumer .

Syria Shell expresses deep thanks to the cooperation and welcomed by all on officials and child at the creation of this program, in the Governorate of Damascus, Palmyra , or Deir al-Zour, where the program provides full-time in all the elementary school in Deir Al-Zour, and despite that required for this effort on the project and permanent follow-up and connect with many of the actors, but it promotes a range of important concepts dealing with children’s behavior and composition in the future.

And as following -up of the activity program at the School of Saad bin Obada – Dumer Ms. Nayfa Bitar, director of the school said that the information provided by the program were very useful and important for children at this stage and provide a smooth and easy to be absorbed , especially with a booklet of facilities and tools of clarification required and the gift distinct and Application working with children during class and style catalyst for children to participate and cooperate, which strengthened the concept in the mind of the child and encourage them to promote it within the family and surroundings.

It should be noted that the program of road safety is an initiative of Syria Shell Petroleum Development in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the AFPC and. The program is presented by Ms. Nahid Sheikh Atiya – in all Elementary schools in the province of Deir al-Zour throughout the school year and in summer camps and many events such as the World Traffic Day and World Environment Day, offering special programs for children to educate them in security and traffic safety through the vehicle of the company’s films were shown to enable them to understand the joints, traffic signs, signals a brighter road traffic accidents. And proud of the program as presented to over thirty thousand children in the three governorates of Damascus, Palmyra and Deir al-Zour in years 2008-2009.
