Abbas Naqi Secretary-General of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries “OAPEC” said The scientific symposia and workshops accompanying the exhibition VII of the oil and gas are opportunities to exchange experiences and to enhance the cooperation of companies competent in the areas of exploration, especially in light of the increasing global demand for oil and gas.

 

 

Naqi in a statement to “Syria- Oil” on the sideline of his participation in SYROIL 2010 that , the major involvement of Arab companies, and regional and global, which showed a high caliber of the oil industry in Syria.

 

 

For his part, Nasser Al-Sharhan, Director General of the UAE Ministry of Energy said that the exhibition is very important for Arab companies and regional and global view of their products and the work of meetings between officials in the oil sector in Syria in addition to holding conventions, pointing out that the Syrian market is promising and especially after the latest gas discoveries .

 

 

Sharhan added that legislation that had been in Syria, which has sought and attracted many from the Arab, regional and global investment, noting the importance of Syria’s announcement on the new blocks for exploration and drilling, which increases the hopes of Syria to increase its production of oil and gas.
