Chief Executive of Arab Company for Petroleum Investments APICORP Ahmad Al-Nuaimi noted to the great development witnessed by Syria in the field of prospecting and exploration in the areas of oil and gas and refining industry, pointing out that Syria is one of contributing countries to the Arab Company for Petroleum Investments with lots of its important activities.

Al-Nuaimi said in a statement to “Syria- Oil” during his participation in the proceedings of the seventh session of the exhibition Syrian International Oil and Gas SYROIL 2010 “The facilities provided by the Syrian Oil Ministry in addition to the development of legislation and laws governing the operation of oil and gas sector accounted for a magnet and powerful investors from around the world .

He pointed out that a company APICORP in such events and economic events comes to the financing of projects as a financial institution and to contribute to the capital of some projects and providing financial advisory services to them.

 
The APICORP is one of the Arab companies emanating from the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) and contribute to the capital of the ten Member States of the Organization, which, including the Syrian Arab Republic, which was established under an international convention signed in November 1975 and is headquartered in Saudi Arabia.
