Eng. Sufian Allaw Minster of Oil and Mineral Resources discussed with related committees developing plans of Sazaba oil field of SPC and the reality on Syrian Turkish Borders to increase production profits to 20 % through the coming years.

Allaw stressed during his tour in al-Hassaka oil fields (al-Rumailan ) and operating companies in the region that Sazaba oil field is a promising one with good geological reserve about 1500 million barrel a day indicated that developing plan includes using the latest techniques related to supported production IOR and completing related surface building .

Allaw decided in his visit to Awdah Plant subsidiary of joint venture between Awdah Co. and Chinese SINOPEC temporarily halted some oil wells until it do necessary procedures to stop the gas inflation that contains Hydro Sulpher Substance and damage environment and health of the population of the region .

He said that the company started taking necessary procedures the completion of the implementation of measures related to improving conditions and adherence to health and safety instructions indicated that Oil Pumping will be allowed after making sure of improving conditions after two weeks.

Allaw had a look on operations in Dijlah Plant of Dijlah oil joint venture between GPC and British Gulf Sands that produce 16.000 barrel a day and seeks to increase its production to 17.000 barrel a day in light that it achieved new oil explorations in al-Yusufia field that soon will start production by 1000 barrel a day and hoped to increase production to 6.000 barrel a day in the coming period.

Allaw reviewed work reality and its future during his meeting with al-Rumailan Directorate and operating companies in the region.
