After Damascus and Hom.. Syria Shell discuss to open Intilaaqah Syria in Deir al-Zour

In continuation for Syria Shell Policy to support Society and develop HR qualification ; Lina Abdulkhaleq Director of Intilaaqah Syria program which is financed by Syria Shell for oil development Company discussed with board of Trade and Industry Chamber in Deir al- Zour the possibility of opening the program in Deir al-Zour as well as providing needed means for that.

Abdulkhaleq said that Shell Live Wire the Mother program of Intilaaqah Syria program which was started by Shell Global Company in 1982 in England to support enterprises pioneers by helping youth category in pro-study stage to chose their free works and projects through training that enable them to carry out their own projects adding that THE PROGRM is now in 26 countries around the world.

Intilaaqah Syria program is based on raising youth awareness towards the importance of the free work in supporting national economy in addition to developing HR ability and recruiting people through trainees’ projects ..

 
The program started in Damascus then moved to Homs at the end of last year and preparation are carrying out to open in Deir al-Zour during this year through awareness campaigns among students of al-Furat University and selecting trainees who have ideas to help them by providing their needs to carry out their works.

She added that special training was developed to meet Syrian Local Market Demands including subjects related to Market and Project Demand Study in addition to strategies of Marketing, goods, Services that will be presented and ways of advertising it.

The training is in workshop of 50 hours for 20 to 22 trainees.

She said that 1200 persons in Syria benefited from the program and 400 trainees joined trainings since the program started and 70 persons

The “Intilaaqah Syria” is a social initiative of Syria Shell Petroleum Development to provide technical support and help young people interested in serious Syrian in establishment of their projects which is a belief from the company of the importance of developing the skills of Syrian youth as an essential part of its responsibility towards the development of Syrian society in general and support small and medium enterprises in particular.

Intilaaqah Syria has started in Syria, under a memorandum of understanding between Social Affairs and Labor Ministry and Syria Shell in 2008.
