Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Otri on Monday said fields of cooperation between Syria and Croatia are wide and various, referring to the importance of cooperation in oil, gas, energy and transport domains and the necessity of putting mechanisms for the implementation of the signed agreement between both sides.

This came during a meeting between Premier Otri and Croatian Minister of Economy and Labor Djuro Popijac, where they discussed prospects of joint cooperation and means of enhancing and developing them in different fields.

The exchange of national origin-products, benefiting from the joint expertise and activating work between governmental institutions and businessmen for establishing industrial and investment partnerships were also touched upon.

For his part, Popijac underlined Croatia’s desire to consolidate cooperation relations with Syria, praising what has been achieved of success in the fields of economic reform, comprehensive development and growth of the gross domestic product’s rates.
