Syria Shell celebrates announcing enterprises Pioneers winners in the annual local competition of ” Intilaaqah Syria” program

Syria Shell for oil development hosted a party in Dedeman Damascus Hotel for celebrating “Intilaaqah Syria ” program; in the presence of Dyala al-Haj Aref Social and working Affairs Minister to announce enterprises Pioneers winners in the annual local competition of the program, by selecting successful symbols of enterprises Pioneers either they are graduated from the program or from any other institution.
Al-Haj Aref in its speech stressed on the importance of encouraging youth and fruitful work and cooperation between different sides and participatory between public ,private and civil sectors depending on youth became due to ” Intilaaqah Syria” program aware of how to start and implement their projects indicated to the important projects of enterprises Pioneers, Mawred and Public working body.

Syria Shell Company said ‘ we are in Shell support ” Intilaaqah Syria” program and we are part of Syrian society .. we through our work in al-Furat Petroleum Company participate in providing vacancies and training to good number of Engineers and technicians as well as enterprises Pioneers to carry out their projects.

Michistad thanked Social and working Affairs Ministry and all who supported the program ..
He as well as congratulated the winners and asked them to be good example of success.
Lina Abdulkhaleq director of ” Intilaaqah Syria” program announced the winners names as follows:
The program graduated Mohammed Qasem Naser was the 1st winner in Best project idea for and win 150.000 SP. For Olive Oil Compressor in Palmyra the 2nd was Ghada Abdulmajeed 100.000 SP. For Dababis Project / Mawred Society / and the 3rd was for Mohammed Reyad Ayash 50.000 SP for Mobile Library Project.
In the best work plan Ghalia Abdulsalam Jarad / Program Graduated / wins 1st award 150.000 SP. For Votex Project the 2nd for Tareq Anwar Addyri for solar electric Power project //
100.000 SP. And the 3rd for Sana Taiseer Abdulla for Education Operation Management project 50.000 SP.

Best Project for Program Graduated the 1st winner was Khaled Amer Musa for Publisher Project 150.000 the 2nd Samira Mustafa Abu Hasan for Grass Club Project 100.000 SP.
The 3rd was for Mais Abdulhadi Abdulaal for Beauty Center Project 50.000 SP.
Best Project for program non graduated persons awards go to Atef Yuness 1st award for al-Balad Toaster Project 150.000 SP. The 2nd for Qusai Yusef Kiwan for Book Exhibition controversy project 100.000 SP. The 3rd for Farah Anas Ismail /Mawred Society for Nai Art Café in Lattakia 50.000 SP.
started the 1st phase of its training programs in 2010 with 23 trainees who want to have international specialized programs in small projects managements.
“Intilaaqah Syria” is a social initiative of Syria Shell Petroleum Development to provide technical support and help young people interested in serious Syrian in establishment of their projects which is a belief from the company of the importance of developing the skills of Syrian youth as an essential part of its responsibility towards the development of Syrian society in general and support small and medium enterprises in particular.
The program was established as Shell, “Live Wire” is an international initiative developed by Shell around the world, where the program is working in many countries in the world and Arab countries (Egypt – Oman – Libya – Qatar – United Arab Emirates).
Memorandum of understanding was signed in 2008 between the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and Syria Shell Petroleum Development support of the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources of the launch of the (starting) in Syria, where Syria Shell funding for training courses in entrepreneurship.
The program aims to encourage young people to consider the option of Syrian self-employment and entrepreneurship, and give young people wishing to establish small projects the opportunity to benefit from past experience in this area and gain experience necessary for a successful small project which provides employment opportunities for them and others as well.
Program provides the following services free of charge:
- Programs and campaigns to educate young people about entrepreneurship ,self-employment and creation of small projects.
- Specialized training programs to develop the skills of young people for establishment and management of small projects.
- The provision of advisory services to young entrepreneurs after obtaining training helps them to start their own projects.
