Syria was absent from the Arab Oil Companies list that qualified it members to work out of their countries in Oil and Gas Industry.. non of Syrian private nor Public Companies was in that list which contained 92 companies.

The list which was issued by OAPEC included about 53 Kuwaiti companies, 19 Egyptian,15 Algerian two Iraqi and same Saudi and One Libyan.
