Eng. Sufian Alao minister of oil and mineral resources discussed with a delegation from Qatar Petroleum company headed by Osama Mohammed al-Momany the horizon of future cooperation in different areas of oil and Gas.

During the meeting, both sides conferred on the renewable energy and ways of benefiting from it as a clean and environment-friendly energy in addition to its contribution to the sustainable development.
Alao called for an economic integration among the Arab states, particularly in the field of oil and gas, noting to the importance of the Arab gas project among Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon reaching Turkey and Europe.
He expressed hope the project will be expanded to include other Arab countries, particularly Qatar which possesses big quantities of gas reserves.
