Eng. Sufian Allaw Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources said that his Ministry stepped important steps last year in areas of Production ,implementation, exploration, legislation, HR and Training and keep on stability of production in range of 2007- 2008 indicating to the ministry vision towards increasing production rates to 380.000 oil barrel a day.

Allaw added that the ministry put a good strategy to 2025 planning to produce about 2 billion cubic meters and 160 billion cubic meter of clean gas for local markets with average of 9 to 10 billion cubic meter a year .

Allaw stressed that during few last years the ministry assigned more than 1100 Engs and 70 Geologist in Oil and Mineral resources and gas Sector
