The plan referred to the need to examine the possibility of a transfer of raw gas reserves discovered to invest from one region to another, especially being able to invest the surplus in the Deir al-Zour area factor and the continuation of recycling Attabia gas field till 2014, with a view to optimize investment of thehydrocarbon  fluids .

 
The total production of raw gas in Syria, according to the bulletin of the Ministry of periodic oil last year, 8132 million cubic meters were delivered 7400 million cubic meters of gas processing plants, where produced 7060 million cubic meters of clean gas and 263 tons of cooking gas, compared to 218 thousand tons and stripes ر 4254 million barrels of condensate and 14 thousand tons of sulfur have been imported 728 million cubic meters of Egypt on the agreement with the Egyptian side to this end.

 
Produced and imported clean gas Were distributed to the Ministry of Electricity by 5114 million cubic meters for use in power plants and 470 million cubic meters to the Ministry of Industry for use in the operation of some plants, rather than using fuel oil and 468 million cubic meters of the Ministry of oil and 1716 million cubic meters for the purposes of injections and internal use in laboratories and fields of the Ministry of Oil.
