Deir al-Zour Governor Husain Arnus, Dr. Feras Qaddor head of Board Deir al-Zour Oil Co. and Jean- louis Barjolle Company GM make field visit to some of oil plants of the company.

They had a look on the ways of work processes in Water rising Plant in al-Sabha region that pumps Euphrates water to oil wells in al-Jafra region with estimated power by 15.000 cubic meters of water a day to inject it to help in the extract oil processes.

Arnus stressed the importance of reduction of the negative effects of extract processes and keep on the he minimum allowed globally to safe environment from plough of soil or water.

Arnus welcomes the efforts of Deir al-Zour oil company in al-Jafra field to prevent the Pollution resulted of oil as well as the Forestations processes conducted by the company around the field calling for increasing forestation areas to increase the green belt around oil extract areas.

Qaddor on his part presented an over view on the ways of work process of the company in the fields to prevent the pollution of soil and water of Euphrates indicating that the replacement of old oil pipes is of the most important projects of the company in current year that currently is investing 7 oil fields the biggest one is al-Jafra while its plan of this year to extrat oil from 5 new oil wells.

Deir al-Zour oil company is a joint venture and last year started to replace about 107 km length main export route from the station Jafra extended to the second station . It stated in last October by replacing 17 km of the main export and will end in July.
