china’s ambassador in Syria / Li Houachin / visited Chinese companies operating in the province of Hasaka .. the  two companies are / CNPC / working on the development of the field Kbeba and / Sinopec / working on the development of fields of Awda and Tishreen .

Ambassador also met with  Hasakah Governor General Muaza  Najib Salloum, and the discussion focused on the reality of work and level of performance of service contracts to of Chinese companies working in the fields in province .

 The Governor emphasized that further work to provide all possible assistance for the success of action plans for Chinese investment companies operating in the fields Kbeba ,Awda and Tishreen .

 China’s ambassador expressed his pleasure to visit with a view to maintaining access to the reality of the work of Chinese companies operating in the area of oil investment in the province of Hasaka, in addition to know the reality of conservation and investment and development projects which, particularly with the success of cooperation between the two countries, which yielded positive results in the economic, technical and scientific. 

The Chinese oil companies conduct work of rehabilitation of old wells and drilling new wells had achieved daily production quantities of 14 thousand barrels per day in the fields of Kbeba and 6 thousand barrels in the fields of Awda and up to 12 thousand barrels per day in the fields of Tishreen.
