Allaw discussed with Iranian President assistant ways of cooperation in gas and oil areas.. Iran suggests fixing dunes by oil materials to reduce the sandy winds.

Eng. Sufian Allaw Minister of oil and mineral resources discussed with Mohammed Jawad Mohamadi Zadah Iranian President assistant Head of General Body of Environment cooperation relations between Syria and Iran and ways of promoting them in oil and gas areas to achieve the mutual benefits of both friend countries.

Allaw review the joint projects between the two countries and memos of understanding in areas of oil and gas Exploration and training programs indicating to the wide chances of enhancing cooperation mainly if there were an increase in gas Production in Syria or importing it from Iran through Iraq or Turkey.

Oil Minister indicated that Syria support using gas in all possible ways due to its nature of friend of the environment and reduce of fuel and diesel importing saying that oil ministry put future plans to increase individual’s share of gas to use it in Industry and Transport ministries by importing 1000 bus for public transporting in addition to expanding industrial projects that operate by gas.

Mohamadi Zadah presented his country’s plan to spray oil materials in desert areas to fix the dunes in order to prevent the sandy winds that have negative affect on man and plants lives indicating that Iran is ready to cooperate with Syria in this area.
