Total E & P Syrie Sponsored a Seminar about launching of Aim Center Project for Training and Micro Projects’ development.

Ramzi Saada Middle East Project’s Director in European Enterprise for Development and Cooperation said that the project came after a profound study on the reality of economy in Deir al -Zour and its needs for such a developing project that ease the average of Poverty and Unemployment in the Province and help in investing the Human Resources adding that about 21 thousand micro projects are now in Deir al-Zour provide 82 % of jobs in it.

He added that the main skills in managing businesses and lack of awareness of chances to develop projects created a crucial need to this project that includes training programs along several weeks that provide the trainees by the keys of skills and human resources management and Pricing, competition, credit and saving polices.

David Varge Project’s Director in Deir al-Zour said that the training programs will start on 4th October with two mothes programs in next year adding that 15 persons will benefit of the program this year while 75 ones in 2010 and 120 in 2011.

Suheir Shaheen Head of Sustainable Development Department in Total E&P Syrie said that Aim Project Intersects with many of the Company projects that Total finance in Deir al-Zour like Innovation and Project Development Center, Professional Training Center, Microcredit project with Bedaia Establishment and East pioneers By SYEA.

She added that this project is under the companies programs about Sustainable Developments that started since 2003 in Health, Education, Environment, Cultural heritage preservation and local developments sectors that help in developing of business sector and human resources building.

This project came in the cooperation between State Planning Body, Commercial and Industrial Chambers in Deir al-Zour , UNDP, Total E&P Syrie , European Enterprise for Development and Cooperation Project based in France.
