Addardari & Allaw discussed in Turkey Economic, Energy areas and Gas Nets connection

Abdullah Addardari Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs and Eng. Sufian Allaw Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources discussed in Ankara with Ali Babajan Turkish Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs Syrian Turkish economic relations and cooperation areas especially in energy field.

 

The meeting discussed in details areas of cooperation in energy field and steps that had been achieved to connect Syrian Turkish Gas Nets and mutual relations in this area to ensure energy safety for the two countries to increase qualification in this sector and joint investment in it.

The two parts agreed to have series of technical and ministerial meetings during few coming weeks to put last touches on Syrian Turkish Gas Nets connection and ways of enhancing cooperation in electrical Power sector and widen electrical Power exchange between them.

Syria and Turkey agreed earlier last year to establish Pipeline to ship natural gas with 64 km to connect Syrian Turkish Gas Nets with condition that Turkey will buy 1.5 billion cubic meter of gas through this pipeline yearly.
