Eng. Sufian Allaw Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources said that Syrian daily production of gas is 22 million cubic meter ,13 million cubic meters of them is for Electricity Ministry and some factories while the remained part to consumers adding that Syria is going to import 2.5 million cubic meters a day from Egypt through Arab Gas pipeline.

Allaw added that the potency reserves of oil and gas is about 44.3 billion barrel indicating to the possibility of increasing the petrol production revenues of 33 % through developing the exploration techniques

He added we will remain as oil and gas producers for long coming years.
