Dr.Aziz Mansour IPR American Egyptian Company’s G. Manager said that al-rashid 1 well discovery will be a kick start of series of other discoveries in al-Kasra area.

Mansour said during a meeting with Eng. Sufian Allaw Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources that the Current Production of the well is about 1450 barrel a day. But actually the production is about 750-770 barrel a day after reduction of producing water quantity to 2% in order to keep on the tests programs.

Mansour indicated that the company tends to dig a well in next July in Abo- Khachab area and other with 4500 meter depth in Wadi Obeid in al-bishri Mountain at the end of this year saying that the area is optimistic and may uncover of new oil discoveries.
