Russian liquefied gas will reach Europe via a “Shell”

Sakhalin Energie” Company Operator of “Sakhalin – 2″ and both “Gazprom” and Anglo – Dutch “Shell” has signed a Convention for the supply of nearly one million tons of LNG per year each in the period from 2009 until 2028.

“Gazprom” and “Shell” announced in their signing of contract for another 20 years, a supply which “Gazprom” to the Anglo – Dutch th rough pipelines to Europe is equivalent to the amount of LNG which will be of the “Sakhalin Energie

.”

This will enhance , “Shell” position in the European gas markets and diversification of energy supply routes, and will allow the affiliates to “Gazprom” to use the gas networks of the company “Shell”, which could enable the Russian gas giant gas supply to South California and strengthening its presence in America.
