Dr. Amer Fakhoury al-baeeth University chairman discussed in homs with Mr. Galeb Suleiman Deputy General Manager of Syria Shell possibility of creating specialized programs to develop youth skills and establishing small projects.

Fakhoury stressed the university wish to cooperate with Shell in its program” Intilaaqah Syria” to help society through emerging new graduates in job market according to the needs of ministries.

Suleiman said that “Intilaaqah Syria” aimed to publish qualified work culture among youth in cooperation with al-Baeth University .This social initiative of Syria Shell is to provide technical support and help young people and those who are interested in the establishment of their own projects and that stressed the company’s belief of the importance of developing the skills of young people as an essential part of its responsibility towards the development and community development projects and support the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Ms. Leena Abdul Khaleq Project manager said that the company will provide entertainment symposiums about the program in university’s departments to educate young people about entrepreneurship and self-employment and the establishment of small and specialized training programs to develop skills of young people in addition to provide advisory services to entrepreneurs youth access to training courses, including helping them in starting their projects, and marketing those projects and full technical support.

Intilaaqah Syria has started in Syria, under a memorandum of understanding between Social Affairs and Labor Ministry and Syria Shell in 2008.
