Syrian Government decrease fuel price to 20 SP. a liter

Syrian Government decrease fuel price from 25 to 20 SP. a liter. This step came during people assembly session on Tuesday which was attended by premier and cabinets members.

Premier Mohammed Naji Otri said in the session that the decision came as a result of farmers demands to ease their pressure in addition to the drop of fuel price in international markets.

Many parliaments and businessmen demand decrease of fuel price as many of neighboring countries after barrel oil price drop in international markets from 147 $ in July to 50 $ nowadays.

 
The decrase of oil price came after exactly 11 months of increasing liter price from 7 SP. to 25 SP. a liter .
