Gulam Husain Nouzari Iranian oil minister will visit Syria on Monday on 30/3 at the invitation by his Syrian counterpart Sufian Allaw to discuss cooperation prospects between the two countries.

The two parts will discuss the main principles agreement which was signed on 7/1/2008 to bring Iranian gas to Syria in addition to arrangements relating to joint refinery which will be established in al-Freqles east Homs with 140.000 barrel a day.

 
They as well as will discuss the new areas of cooperation between oil and gas companies in both countries.

Nouzari singed with Allaw in last year on January an agreement allow to Syria to import 3 billion cubic meter of gas yearly with one billion $.

Nouzari said after singing the agreement that experts will start their work to determine the transportation costs and other parts of the agreement adding that the gas will be transported through Turkey.

Official Iranian TV announced that this move will start during this year and the Iranian revenues of it will reach to one billion Dollars.
