People Assembly Tuesday approved a bill containing the ratification of the framework agreement to provide a soft loan from Chinese Government to its Syrian counterpart with an of 250 million yuan earmarked to meet the needs of the institution of the public sector and modernization of oil exploration and drilling in this sector.

The State Planning Commission signed a framework agreement last November between the Two Governments which provides a loan facilitator of the value of Chinese yuan 250 million to Syria to finance the equipment purchase of and rigs for the benefit of the SPC will finance the contract signed between the company and Chinese Cptdc for the supply of seven new rigs and 4 offshore rigs and wells, rehabilitation of concrete pumping units.
