He noted that Qatar was able through a decade and a half to become the largest exporter of LNG in the world, calling for coordination of efforts to reach a corrective approach is comprehensive and addresses the root causes of the crisis and not only to address the external symptoms.
He said that Qatari gas will contribute to the growth and prosperity of the economies of the world and ease the adverse effects of the natural environment of the use of hydrocarbon products in industrial projects.
He added that Qatar’s role is not limited to playing a pivotal role in meeting the demand for gas at the international level but also at the regional level, where the State of Qatar was able to achieve the significant turning point in the process of launching the gas industry to address plant Dolphin gas in the month of May 2008 in the city of Ras Laffan, It is through this project will be exported two billion cubic feet per day ofnatural gas to the UAE.

Qatar has a huge reserve of natural gas is 900 trillion feet and is one of the largest gas exporters in the world, and the State of Qatar has announced its intention to double gas production by 2010 to become the largest producer and exporter of gas at all.

The conference is held over three days in Doha attended by about 500 people, representatives of international energy companies and government officials, traders, industrialists and corporate financing of energy projects and consulting and technical experts.
The Conference is a biennial basis and is one of the most important and the largest conference ever and gas this year is of great significance in light of the decrease in oil prices and reduced demand for energy, which threatens the sector strongly associated with the global market.
