Syrian Oil Minister Sufian Allaw said that the restructuring of the Ministry of Oil in accordance with Decrees 14 and 15 of 2-14-2009 that contained creation of public corporations,oil refining and distribution of petroleum products designed to keep abreast of developments in this sector in terms of increase in the number of operating companies and joint ventures as well as contracts for exploration and prospecting.

The minister added in a statement to Syria-oil, under the new decrees will be to separate the functions of supervision and regulation and operational functions and increase the efficiency of work in the oil and gas companies will be the institution where the work of supervision and regulation, while companies devote themselves to the implementation of operational functions assigned to it.

 
Allaw pointed out that the public Petroleum Corporation will be overseeing all activities related to exploration and production of oil and gas, refineries and transported to the estuaries as well as export gas processing and transportation to the centers of consumption, and will be linked to this institution by the Syrian Petroleum Company and Syrian Gas Company and the Syrian Company for the transportation of oil and the operating companies (al-furat, Deir Al-Zour Hayan, Kawkab, Awda, and Dijelah), and any companies or co-worker, are created in future.

 
The Enterprise Foundation, the second Assembly of the oil refining and distribution of oil derivatives will be supervision and follow-up activities related to refining crude oil refineries in the existing refineries or refining, as well as the future distribution of oil derivatives, and domestic gas is linked to this institution by the Company of Homs and Banias Refinery Companies, and any fuel companies in common future and the institution will be representative of the Syrian side of the planned refinery projects created in the al-frqls and the Deir Al-Zour.
Syria Oil
