Digging processes is continued in old Souqe al-Hal in Lattakia in Lattakia well 4, where as the depth reached up till now to 2760 meters.

Omer al-Hamad general director of Syrian Petroleum company stressed that the result are negative but the company will go on digging to 3500 meters depth in order to have all geological data that help in future exploring processes in the region.

It is noteworthy that petrol was appeared in the digging site in old Souqe al-Hal in 2007.

Digging processes was started in the site after installing oil digger /Oral touch/ since five months to reveal storing oil rocks or any possibility of existing oil and gas materials.
