Sufian Allaw minister of oil and mineral resources discussed with Olick Seimens Ukrainian Ambassador to Syria and Rosterlaf Shanovsky general manager of ” Inter pipe” company and accompanied delegation the possibility of cooperation relations with Ukrainian companies indicted that Ukraine is an important export of Syrian Phosphate.

Allaw called Ukrainian companies to participate in tenders announced by oil companies specially that related to link of Arab Gas Pipeline project and the Turkish Network with 62 Kilometer long from Aleppo to Kals in addition to cooperation in old fields rehabilitation and Sea exploration in the light that the ministry tends to offer new land an sea sites for exploration .

Two parts discussed during the meeting the possibility of establishing joint venture for producing oil pipelines and oil and services. As well as direct dealing with Phosphate and mines public company and the Ukranian company in Phosphate area instead of dealing with mediators.

Shanovsky in his part assured his company commitment for work in Syrian oil markets and it seek to enhance its good relations with Syrian Petroleum company since many years.
