Russian-Kuwaiti partnership in energy field

Kuwait Noor Financial Investment Company announced its intention to establish a joint venture to explore oil and gas with unit of the Russian company Gazprom.
Nassar al-Marri, Deputy Chairman of the Board told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) about setting up a company and one in Russia and the second in Kuwait in the framework of the joint venture with Gazprom Giovezeka.
Gazprom owns 51% of the company’s base in Russia which has a light, while 49% of them, while the latter owns 51% of the company, the institution in Kuwait and Gazprom 29%, leaving the remaining property of the holding company of the Cyprus-based firm.
The official news agency reported that the focus of the joint venture will be to provide drilling services, and pre-production operations, maintenance, repair and overhaul work in the oil and gas sector.
It is noteworthy that the company shares are included in Kuwait Stock Exchange, and National Industries Group has a controlling stake in Noor .
