Cabinet: fuel price per ton is 7500 Syrian pounds instead of 9000

Syrian Cabinet issued a decision says that the weekly rate of fuel per ton is 7500 SP. few weeks after raising the price sale of fuel from of 6000 SP. per ton to 9000 at the beginning of last December.

 number of factories and laboratories have come to use of fuel in Syria, after a rise in prices of oil derivatives, and particularly diesel, in May of last year.

 
Oil Minister Sufian Allaw said in previous statements that the rise in diesel prices has led to increased demand for fuel, and the need for licensed facilities – approved licenses – / 936 / thousand tons annually,
Allaw added that “we have established a special 530-consuming monthly fuel consumption varies between 5 tons up to 4000 tons and there are up to their facilities to more than 6000 tons, and drawing some 175 tons per day .. There is consumption of 7 .6 million tons, while we produce 4 million tons and the rest is imported, either by sea and there are limited quantities through our suppliers of Iraq (about 60 to 70 thousand tons).
