Syrian Gas Company and the companies operating in Syria implemented their annual plans production in 2008 with high ratio by treating (6.845.591.000) cubic meters of gas compared to the amount of planned (6.089.264.000) cubic meters in gas treatment plants in Syria, by the implementation of 112.4%.

Syria has reached the production of clean gas / 6.420.399.000/ cubic meters compared to the amount of planned / 5.853.284.000 cubic meters, and by the implementation of 109.7% . And with exporting value of / 4.157.913.000/ cubic meters of clean gas (with companies operating in Syria to the network) compared to / 3655428 / cubic meters, the amount of planned to the network and by the implementation of 113.7%. The use of quantity / 123.018.000 / cubic meters of gas in exchange for the lifting of the value of planned / 134.521.000 / cubic meters with 91.4% rate of implementation.

 
With respect to domestic gas production the amount has been of cooking gas of / 297.164/ tons (with companies operating in Syria) versus the amount of planned / 227.680 / tons, and by the implementation of 130.5%, in addition to / 4.414.513 / barrel compared to the amount of planned / 3.137.583 / barrel, and by the implementation of 140.7%, and / 14.174 / ton compared to the amount of planned / 13.885 / ton, and by the implementation of 102.1%.

 
Sources of Syrian Gas Company said the reasons for the high rate are due to the following products:
• shorten the time of maintenance in the Department of Hasakeh gas (12) days.

 
• cancellation of planned maintenance of Deir Al-Zour plant in 2009 due to the urgent need for gas for power stations.

 
• increase the amount of fluid from the line by Altabia / 375.500 / barrel due to the high coefficient of liquid.

 
• the entry of some of the wells in production from outside the plan in the central region, where the entry of al-Dubayat 23 well on 28/1/2008 at a daily rate of approximately 44 thousand cubic meters for a total amount of 2008 borders (14872) cubic meters , as well as the entry of Alarc 2 well on 29/2/2008 with a daily average of 45 thousand cubic meters and the total amount of the 2008 borders (13770) cubic meters of this amount reflected the additional increase of 0.47% of the general plan of the company.
