Otri reviewed with Russian delegation cooperation, especially in oil and gas exploration fields

Eng.Mohammad Naji Otri, Prime Minister reviewed with Mr.Yuri Chavranic President of the Union of oil and gas men in the Russian Federation and the accompanying delegation relations of cooperation and friendship between Syria and Russia and the common desire to promote and develop prospects in the areas of economic cooperation and development.

The meeting focused on ways to develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of oil and gas exploration and power generation.

It was also found on the stages of the work in some exploration projects, which is implemented by some Russian companies in Syria.

 
Ministry of Petroleum and mineral resources and its companies linked with Russian companies by contracts and agreements in the fields of prospecting, exploration and the supply of oil derivatives. ”

 
And Russian companies established labs to deal with Syria, as implemented by the gas pipeline project to transport gas from the El Arish area in Egyptian land through Syria, in addition to the exploration in some of the sites offered by the Ministry of Oil for investment.
