“Mahroukat” grant licenses for 120 private fuel stations

Mahroukat granted about 120 licenses during three months for establishing petrol stations.This step came after the Services Commission in Syrian cabinet approved in ters to allow the establishment of these stations after a break of five years.

 

 

Eng. Abdullah Khattab Director-General of Mahroukat said that, after the cabinet’s decision to allow the establishment of fuel stations on 1/9/2008 after a break of 2004 had been granted fuel for individuals and companies about the decision to establish 120 fuel stations in all Syrian provinces except the border areas of specific inter-cabinet in order to preserve the national economy.

 

 

Khattab added that these stations have been licensed with the consent of the executive boards in the provinces and in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Local Administration issued by the decision of the Minister of Local Administration / 211 / of 2008, which took into account the conditions (on the physical – the site – and the interface area – buildings – storage – reservoirs – lighting – extensions Electrical – Services – lighting protection devices and the risks – security and safety conditions – Signs) and other things such as the use of pumps and electronic control of the station using the cameras and the pumps are for the use of an electronic card reader.

 

 

In the context of a related company opened Omawein fuel station, , equipped with modern facilities to relieve the burdens on some stations of governmental fuel stations in Damascus as Mahroukat fuel stations have high credibility in terms of products.
