Egyptian court asked their government to stop gas export to Israel

The Supreme Administrative Court in Egypt, requiring the government to stop the export of gas to Israel, confirmed an earlier step in this case.
Media sources in Cairo said the court’s decision to ratify the rule of the Administrative Judicial Court, to annul the government decision to export gas to Israel, after a lawsuit made by a number of lawyers.
The Supreme Court has decided to accept a challenge by the former Ambassador Ibrahim Yusri Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director of the Department of international law and international treaties to which the former won the sentence on November 18 last.
Egypt started to export natural gas to Israel via a pipeline for the first time in May last year, according to the agreement signed in 2005 with the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Company for the supply of Tel Aviv, 1.7 billion cubic meters of gas annually over 15 years.
