Croatian President visited Jehar gas plant project in Palmyra

Croatian President Saipan Mesic visited Jehar Gas Plant Project which is implemented by Hayan oil joint ventures between the Syrian Oil Company and the Enna Croatian company in Palmyra.
On Syrian – Croatian cooperation in the fields of oil and gas, Croatian president said that the sites visited by the joint ventures reflect the important results of economic cooperation between the two countries which we hope developed continuously.
President Mesic heard from Mr. Khoshaba Nissan , general manager of Enna & Hayan for oil profound explain about the operation of the company’s lab.
The Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Sufian Allao said that the Croatian president’s visit to the region is extremely important especially as the Croatian company is a partner for this project with the Syrian Oil Company in drilling, prospecting and exploration.
Allao pointed out that the Croatian company is the main fund of gas plant that will cost about 500 million dollars, pointing out that the total investments of the Croatian company Enna up to one billion dollars.
The oil minister said that this project is a gas processing plants in this region, which drilled several wells to produce oil and gas, pointing out that the well is drilled in the region of 300 barrels of daily production.
The work on this project will be completed by the end of 2010, which will produce four million cubic meters of clean gas per day, in addition to some five thousand barrels of condensate oil.
Allao stressed that the project would be a great reservoir of the national economy and support the needs of the growing Syrian gas, pointing out that this plant is one of four plants currently under construction.
The company Hayan carrying out development in the production of oil and gas fields explored by the Enna Croatian company in the lives of holding (fields Jehar – Palmyra – al-muher –Jasal – al-mustadera – Mzaror)
It exploration contract also follows area Hayan to the west of the Palmyra , according to “the contractor program and budget for exploration and approved by the Syrian Oil Company.
