Jordan reduced fuel prices at 17.2% as a result of the global decline in oil prices

Jordanian government reduced the prices of major oil derivatives on Sunday 14/12 with rates ranging between 4.5 and 17.4%, while the average reduction of all derivatives per 17.2%.

 

Diesel and kerosene received the highest rate of discount of oil derivatives amounting to a 17.4% rate of 7.1 dinars a plate 475 SP. / instead of 8.6 dinars.

 
It also dropped the price of gasoline octane lead-free (90) by 5.4% to reach 7 JD / 470 SP/ instead of 7.4 dinars, the decline in the price of gasoline octane lead-free (95) by 5.8% to 8.1 dinars, compared with 8.6 dinars .

 
In terms of the cumulative decline in prices of kerosine and diesel since last August, has broken by 55% and benzene octane lead-free (90) increased by 54.4%, while the prices of unleaded petrol (95) was the cumulative decline 51.8 %.

 
The Jordanian government confirmed the price of liquefied petroleum gas cylinder (domestic) capacity (12.5) kg at 6.5 dinars 440 SP /.

 
The price of liquefied petroleum gas capacity (50) kg, has declined by 25% to a rate of the cylinder (50) kg 27.29 dinars instead of 36.4 dinars. Retreated bulk liquefied petroleum gas by 25% as well to 545.75 dinars per ton, compared with 728.03 dinars.

 
Fuel price for industry by 19.3% to 193.03 dinars per ton instead of 239.12 dinars.

 
As well as the decline price of a liter of the local aviation fuel by 18.3% to $ 34.9 pounds instead of 42.7 pounds per liter while the price of aviation fuel by foreign 18.05% to $ 35.4, instead of Sharks 43.2 pts Also, fuel prices fell aircraft charter flights by 17.4% to  36.9 per liter .

 
In addition, the price of tons of fuel oil for ships by 25% to 193 dinars instead of 258 dinars. The price of diesel by 11.02% boats to reach the level of 62.6 per liter, instead of Sharks 70.4 shark while asphalt prices fell by 18.9% to 209 dinars per ton instead of 258 dinars.

 
It is noteworthy that this reduction is the eighth this year since the government liberalized the oil sector in Jordan last February , that the government had raised prices 5 times, when world oil prices soared to record levels.

 
In light of the reduction of the new study Amman Municipality and the organization of the public transport sector to reduce transport fares after the reduction seen in fuel prices.
