In the framework of the implementation strategy of the General Petroleum Corporation on long-term external training, was to dispatched the fifth part of 12 Drilling Engineer (9 engineers from the Oudeh company of oil and three engineers from the Syrian Petroleum Company) to China to train with the company Sinopec of China for 100 days from 15/09/2011 till 25/12/2011,

The training program focuses on drilling and repairing wells and field visits to work sites.

According to the "policy of GPC and the need to assess the level of interest of the training the trainees after their return to provide a presentation on the topics of the training program and presentation of proposals to follow up the training process in the presence of a selection of the architects of the General Organization for Petroleum and its subsidiaries, and evaluate their proposals for the development of training.

In this context, the completion of the training was the third batch of ten trainees were dispatched to China by a company CNPC for a period of 100 days and who provided a presentation on techniques to increase oil yield, their suggestions focused on the need to follow up the implementation of training courses and technical and administrative language of English.

It is worth mentioning that about 46 engineers and geologist " were dispatched to date, of GPC and SPC to follow technical courses where it was sending four trainees to Russia for a month with a grant from Russian company Tat Neft training on the technology of oil production and oil geology send 10 trainees to Egypt for two months with a grant from a U.S. IPR company for training on Seismic interpretations and programs Petrel and drilling operations in addition to sending 10 trained others to China for 100 days with a grant from a company CNPC of China for training on increasing the yield of oil and 10 trainees to China for 100 days with a grant from a company Sinochem China Training on the Seismic interpretations and stock programs and Petrel and Eclipse to be dispatched to China 12 trainees also for 100 days by a grant from the Chinese company Sinopec for training on the operations of drilling and repairing wells

all expenses for training courses funded by foreign companies operating in Syria, the above-mentioned institution without bearing any financial expenses resulting there from.
