Allaw in Tehran for gas talks

Talks between Iranian oil minister and Oil minister will start on Saturday evening in Tehran, Mehr news agency reported.
The topics of the negotiation between Rostam Ghassemi and Sufian Allaw are the export of Syrian crude to Asian countries, export of Iranian natural gas to Syria as well as the construction of a 140 000 bpd refinery in Syria.
Syria is interested in buying 3 to 5 million CM per day natural gas from Iran over Turkey, “however there has no agreement been reached over the pricing, “ the news agency says.
last Month Syria, Iran and Iraq inked a memorandum of understanding for the construction of a gas pipeline and transporting Iranian gas across Iraq and Syria to the Mediterranean and Europe.
Iran and Venezuela plan to construct a refinery in Alfroqles in Syria with Syrian cooperation, the talks have however to be finalized.
European Union has banned purchase of Syrian oil and gas which contribute to 30% currency revenue of Syria./-
