For a one week and at the presence of all the staff of Syria Shell Petroleum Development Company , The training program “successful leadership” was held , which is part of the Action Plan for the development leadership Capacities for employees of Syria Shell.

This training enables staff through to identify the latest information on the definition of leadership in terms of its importance, types, and theories used in leadership, and qualities of successful leader, and the scientific method to solve problems, diagnosis, and how to take the appropriate decision, was also presented a set of leadership skills and how to communicate with individuals in the team and the hallmarks of a leader.

This program aims to develop the leadership capacities of staff by using criteria that measure the level of professionalism according to the accumulated experience of the employee, and his positions in work , and academic qualifications. Also reviewed the appropriate factors according to employee information and experience along with distinctive skills and how to use this knowledge to serve the plan of action and what the employee can contribute to achievements in reaching the goals of the work to enable the employee to develop skills and gain new information.

It is worth mentioning that this program is part of a package of training programs prepared by the Department of Human Resources in Syria Shell Petroleum Development Company , which ranges from training through the performance of daily work and training courses and scientific information and the process that provides the employee so that it could perform his work according to the required plan of action.
