Iraqi oil exports increased to 1.5 million barrels per day

Resources said that Iraqi oil exports have increased by more than 500 thousand barrels per day with the resumption of pumping oil from a pipeline damaged by a bomb explosion and the resumption of exports from the main port of Basra, after the hurricane “AEK” .

 

The same resources added that exports amounted to 1.53 million barrels a day, Tuesday, from about 860 thousand barrels on Monday.

 
Iraqi oil official said that the North Oil Company completed on Monday rehabilitation works for the northern pipeline to Turkey that has damaged by a bomb explosion.

 
He added that the line resumed earlier pumping at full capacity on Tuesday morning, a bomb explosion halted exports through the pipeline on Wednesday that the oil flow rate of 450 thousand barrels per day to almost the Turkish port of Ceyhan on Tuesday, that there are currently 1.35 million Barrels in the tanks at Ceyhan.
